A little about our home
Hi, I’m Abby. I’m a wife, a mother, and a homemaker, and I write here from our home about the quiet rhythms of everyday life. Sweet Quiet Home is my place to keep notes on homemaking, homeschooling, and the small moments that shape our days.
I share life here with my husband, Scott, who works from home and, in his spare time, is involved in Freemasonry, something that has become a meaningful part of our family life. We have one child at home, our son Jack, whom I homeschool. He brings so much curiosity, humor, and heart into our days.
Our family also includes two older stepchildren who don’t live with us. Out of love and respect for their privacy, I don’t write about them often, but they are an important part of our family story.
This space isn’t about perfection or having it all figured out. It’s simply a place where I write honestly about the life we’re living, the cozy days, the quiet ones, and everything in between.
